Sumeet is a highly skilled Consultant Urologist with advanced training in robotic surgery. Born in Fiji and trained in New Zealand, he earned his medical degree with Distinction in Surgery from the University of Otago. He further demonstrated his dedication to excellence by completing both an MBA and a PhD at Victoria University during his Advanced Surgical Training.

To refine his expertise, Sumeet pursued an international fellowship in ‘Urology and Advanced Robotic Surgery’ at the Global Robotics Institute, Celebration, Florida, USA. Under the mentorship of Dr. Vipul Patel, the world’s highest-volume robotic surgeon, he gained cutting-edge experience in robotic-assisted urological procedures.

Currently, Sumeet serves as a Consultant Urologist and Supervisor of Training at Waitemata District Health Board, contributing to patient care at both Waitakere and North Shore Hospitals. He is deeply committed to delivering optimal clinical outcomes, leveraging his advanced skills in minimally invasive and robotic surgery to enhance patient care.
