Explore the Gilgit Wing
Introducing the Gilgit Wing, our new, state-of-the-art surgical facility.
Built over four years with a $150 million investment, the Gilgit Wing features state-of-the-art operating rooms and contemporary wards, and is now among the most advanced surgical facilities in New Zealand.
Gilgit Wing Fly-Throughs
At the heart of the Gilgit Wing is the state-of-the-art operating suite, designed to meet both current surgical demands and future innovations. It houses ten spacious digital operating theatres, each around 55 square metres. They enable a wide range of procedures including cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, ORL, and general surgeries, and can be set up for other specialties as needed.
Designed to support healing, the McAuley Ward offers a modern, calming, and comfortable environment with the highest standard of care. It features 20 spacious single rooms and four double rooms, all with ensuites, and most with north-facing views over the city and Hauraki Gulf. Natural light enhances recovery and wellbeing.
We’re proud to be Auckland’s only private hospitals with both an Intensive Care Unit and High Dependency Unit, located adjacent to the McAuley Ward. This capability allows us to care for more complex cases, right through to recovery.
It's a space built with care, purpose, and a deep commitment to providing A Better Health Journey for all our patients.
