Mr. Kevin G Smith MA(Cantab), MBBS, MRCS, FRACS(ORLHNS)
Kevin is a Head, Neck and Thyroid Surgeon and represents patients from Waitemata DHB as a member of the Auckland Head and Neck Cancer multidisciplinary team.
After training as a specialist Otolaryngologist, Head and Neck Surgeon in New Zealand, Kevin completed the prestigious Advanced Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals in London.
Whilst there he further developed his expertise in head and neck surgical oncology, advanced thyroid and parathyroid surgery, complex skin cancers, and minimally invasive salivary gland surgery, as well as pursuing a range of research interests: participating in the sentinel lymph node for oral cavity cancer programme, and in on a groundbreaking T4 Immunotherapy for Head and Neck Cancer clinical trial.
