Dr Anna-Marie Van der Merwe, MBchB, FRANZCOG, completed her medical training at the University of Pretoria, South Africa in 2000.
Obstetrics & Gynaecology training commenced in Hillingdon Hospital and Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital, London before she moved to New Zealand and undertook her post graduate training at Waikato and Counties Manukau DHB.
Anna completed her fellowship in Gynaecological Laparoscopy and Minimal Access Surgery at SAGE (South Auckland Gynaecology Endoscopy unit) and was awarded an AGES (Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery) qualification in 2014.
