Dr Anna Brownson is a FRANZCOG-qualified, AGES-trained Gynaecologist with fellowship training in advanced laparoscopic gynaecological surgery. Her subspecialty interests include endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain, fibroids, fertility assessment, and complex benign gynaecological surgery, including myomectomy and hysterectomy.

Anna is a New Zealand–trained and provides evidence-based, patient-centred care with a strong focus on minimally invasive surgery and clear communication with referrers. After completing a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, she returned home to Aotearoa and now works as a Consultant at Middlemore Hospital (Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau).

She is committed to compassionate, women-centred care and ensuring her patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make informed decisions about their health. Anna cares for people with a broad range of gynaecological concerns, including menstrual and hormonal issues, pelvic pain, adenomyosis, fibroids, and fertility-related conditions, and offers both in-person consultations and telehealth appointments.
