Rachael Hart

Rachael Hart is the General Manager of Allevia Hospital Ascot. Rachael is a Registered Nurse with 23 years of experience across public and private healthcare in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. Her extensive background spans across surgical wards, day stay and perioperative settings, education, infection control and management.

In her previous roles, Rachael led the COVID-19 response and the Whakaari White Island response for surgical services at Counties Manukau before becoming General Surgery Service Manager at Counties Manukau. At Allevia Hospitals, she initially served as Patient Flow & Capacity Manager - managing operations for the bookings, bed and bureau, and pre-admissions and admissions teams.

Rachael is dedicated to identifying efficiencies and delivering quality improvement initiatives and utilises data to inform her decision making in line with the commercial needs and strategy of the business. She is passionate about building high-performing teams and ensuring an excellent patient experience remains at the heart of all we do.
