General Manager People & Culture

Julia is the General Manager People & Culture for Allevia Hospitals, Allevia Radiology and other businesses within the Allevia Health group. She is responsible for our people strategy, our culture and employer brand, all HR policies and programmes, organisational change, recruitment and selection, remuneration, reward and recognition, diversity, developing our leaders, growing our talent and building career pathways, employment relations, consultancy advice, terms and conditions of employment and legal compliance. She came to us from Restaurant Brands, where she was the General Manager People & Capability. Julia has over two decades of senior Human Resources experience across both the health and commercial sectors, including more than 15 years in the UK’s National Health Service, supporting clinical teams and leading workforce strategy in complex healthcare settings. Since relocating to New Zealand, Julia has held executive P&C roles in local government, at Bupa and SPCA New Zealand.
